• It seeks to maximise use of LDES not do what is best for energy users

• It will never say if one LDES technology is poor

• It will never promote alternatives to LDES

We therefore need the independent, more-balanced view of Zhar Research/ GII Research giving:

• Independent assessment of best technologies and the real market size

• Appraisal of alternatives to LDES that reduce the need
